Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years preferred License: ARRT (R) & NM License (NM license pending is acceptable) Certifications: BLS & Fluoro Permit required Must-Have: Call required Weekends required First-time travelers are welcome Description: Two years of experience is preferred. BLS and Fluoro Permit are necessary. ARRT (R) and NM License required (NM license pending is acceptable). Call is a requirement. Weekends are required. The tech will engage in diverse interventional radiology procedures. Skills such as accessing/managing ports and accurate monitoring are essential. Experience with Electrophysiology and various catheterization techniques is valuable. Knowledge of 3D imaging and hemodynamic monitoring is preferred. Familiarity with specialized procedures like embolization and biopsy techniques is essential. Ability to maintain sterile technique and manage equipment is required. Good communication and teamwork skills are crucial for effective collaboration. Flexibility to float to similar units based on facility needs is expected.
