Job Title: IR Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: 1 year required in General Interventional Radiology License: SC license preferred Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), SCQRSA required Must-Have: Clienttion badge provided by agency Description: Seeking an IR Tech for a full-time position. The shift schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The daily caseload will be approximately 4 cases per tech. On-call requirement is necessary with a rotation between two other techs. Weekend coverage is required every third weekend. Candidates must be open to accommodating a block schedule with manager approval based on unit needs. Local candidates are not accepted; a radius rule is in effect. Travelers should be aware of potential hurricane season assignments to emergency response teams. Experience in General Interventional Radiology is required. Experience in Neuro Interventional Radiology is preferred. All required certifications must be current and valid upon submission. Travelers’ availability should be clearly outlined at the time of submission. Candidates should meet all clinical compliance requirements prior to the proposed start date. The facility does not provide radiation badges; candidates must have their own. This role involves working with patients, primarily adults and geriatrics. Additional duties may include monitoring during special procedures related to Interventional Radiology.
