Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 18:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the cardiovascular specialty License: Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required Certifications: Must obtain and maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have: Minimum of an Associate Degree or graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Training Program or graduate from an accredited Allied Health Program Description: Invasive Cardiovascular Technologists are allied health professionals who perform diagnostic examinations during invasive cardiology, noninvasive cardiology, and/or peripheral vascular study procedures. They act at the request or direction of an Interventional Cardiologist. Through subjective data collection and recording, the technologist obtains information necessary for establishing a correct anatomical and physiological diagnosis for each patient. Commitment for call is one weeknight and one weekend each month. Local candidates are no longer being accepted for this position. The position may require floating to other units if necessary. Applicants will undergo an interview or selection process with multiple organizational members involved. Previous employees may be considered for rehire.
