Key Responsibilities of the Anesthesia Technician
Provide technical support and assist with IV access, including complex cases
Support labor and delivery, interventional radiology, and gastrointestinal procedures
Ensure proper setup and operation of anesthesia equipment
Requirements of the Anesthesia Technician
BLS certification required
Graduation from an accredited First Assistant program
Experience with difficult IV access and operating anesthesia technology
ASATT certification preferred
