Sterile Processing Supervisor

Location: Bethpage, NY

Pay: $1,884.80 weekly

Shifts: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, including every third weekend

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Supervisor for a travel assignment in a very large, state-of-the-art off-site reprocessing center in Bethpage, NY. This role involves supervising and coordinating the staff and daily operations of Central Sterile services in a dynamic environment that serves multiple facilities, including tertiary sites and ambulatory surgery centers.

Key Responsibilities of the Sterile Processing Supervisor
  • Supervises and coordinates the staff and daily operations of Central Sterile services.
  • Ensures staff compliance with sterilization techniques, policies, and procedures.
  • Documents sterilization activities and maintains department records.
  • Acts as a liaison between Central Sterile department and perioperative areas.
  • Oversees proper care and handling of all instrumentation from decontamination area.
  • Accepts and tags fast tracks and assigns daily job tasks to employees.

Requirements of the Sterile Processing Supervisor
  • Current Registered Central Supply Technician Certification (CRCST or CSPD) - must not expire during assignment.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Leadership/management experience, required.
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to lift/carry 25 pounds and manual dexterity, required.
  • Strong communication skills in English, required.
