Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician for a travel assignment in New York. This role focuses on providing high-quality support in endoscopic procedures within a hospital setting. Candidates with prior travel experience are preferred for this position.

Key Responsibilities of the Endoscopy Technician
  • Apply principles of aseptic technique to equipment preparation and maintenance.
  • Identify and address any compromises to sterile integrity during procedures.
  • Disassemble and identify defective parts, providing preventive maintenance.
  • Perform pre-cleaning requirements per regulatory standards for all endoscopes.
  • Follow established protocols for reprocessing endoscopes and accessories.
  • Determine methods of High-Level Disinfection for products.
  • Check and calibrate equipment according to protocols.
  • Perform ambulatory technician duties, such as obtaining vital signs and transporting patients.

Requirements of the Endoscopy Technician
  • Completion of at least 1 travel assignment
  • No specific licensure required, HLD certification highly encouraged
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting
