Location: Rochester, NY

Pay: $1,372.40 weekly

Shifts: 1:30pm - 10:30pm; holidays, weekends, on call, call back as needed

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Tech for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role engages in providing crucial support in the care of patients under anesthesia. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, ensuring the functionality and cleanliness of anesthesia equipment, and assisting anesthesiologists, residents, and CRNAs.

Key Responsibilities of the Anesthesia Tech
  • Assist in the care of patients undergoing anesthesia, including equipment preparation and communication with the anesthesia team.
  • Operate specialized equipment such as the cell-saver machine and support advanced surgical cases.
  • Ensure anesthesia equipment is in good condition and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Support in developing and implementing in-service training programs.
  • Perform equipment set up and troubleshooting including infusion pumps and monitors.
  • Set-up rooms and provide equipment for out-of-OR anesthesia care.
  • Provide backup to the shift supervisor and perform duties as assigned.

Requirements of the Anesthesia Tech
  • BLS certification
  • Two years of experience as an Anesthesia Tech
