Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Psych Tech for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role involves providing in-patient psychiatric care and clinical services, working directly with patients on a one-on-one basis. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting patients with their daily living, social, and psychiatric rehabilitation as directed by an RN.

Key Responsibilities of the Psych Tech
  • Provide direct care and clinical services to in-patient psychiatric patients
  • Assist in daily living and rehabilitation activities
  • Communicate effectively with patients and ensure access to required services
  • Inform RN of patient changes and progress
  • Participate in rounds and group therapy as needed

Requirements of the Psych Tech
  • 2 years of recent experience as a psych tech
  • BLS from AHA
  • Associate's Degree in Psychology or Sociology required
  • Experience working with children/adolescents ages 8 - 18
