Pay: $1,103.20 weekly

Shifts: 8:00-4:30 / 1:00-9:30, 7 days a week based on business needs

Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for a contract position in Union City, CA. In this role, you'll work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, playing a critical role in prescription filling, IV preparation, and inventory management. This is a contract position with a GoLive date set for 6/1 and ending on 5/31 with no planned extension. Candidates will typically work 5 days a week according to business needs, with no on-call requirement.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician
  • Fill prescriptions and prepare IVs under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
  • Collaborate with Billing Supervisor to enter data into the computer system for prescription filling and reimbursement payment
  • Prepackage medication for dispensing according to standards and government regulations
  • Assist the Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions
  • Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers
  • Maintain good inventory practices, including receiving and rotating incoming medications and supplies
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician
  • Valid Pharmacy Technician license
  • Relevant experience in pharmacy operations
