Pay: $1,103.20 weekly

Shifts: 8am - 6pm or 10:30am to 7:30pm rotating

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated IV Clean Room Compounding Technician for a contract to hire opportunity in New Hyde Park, NY. This role falls under the category of pharmacy technicians working in a clean room environment under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Training is available for candidates without prior sterile compounding experience.

Key Responsibilities of the IV Clean Room Compounding Technician
  • Fill prescriptions and prepare IVs under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
  • Assist the Billing Supervisor by entering data into computer systems for prescription filling and reimbursement
  • Prepackage medications for dispensing following standards and regulations under pharmacist supervision
  • Support Pharmacy Management in maintaining inventory, including rotating stock and recording lot numbers and expiration dates
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment by checking equipment calibration and cleanliness

Requirements of the IV Clean Room Compounding Technician
  • Must be a NYS Registered Pharmacy Technician
