Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical/Urology/Thoracic unit (Zayed 11 West) position requiring telemetry experience and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience on nights.

Details

• Work on a surgical/urology/thoracic inpatient unit in a large academic hospital setting
• Unit provides two levels of care: adult inpatient acute and telemetry with continuous vital sign monitoring
• Provides pre- and post-operative bedside surgical care
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of current RN experience required
• Telemetry and dysrhythmia management experience required
• Pre- and post-surgical nursing experience required
• Experience in a comparable large hospital setting (500+ bed facility) required
• Current BLS certification required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation is held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month
• 1–2 prior travel assignments preferred
• Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
