Job Summary: Provides specific patient care duties and performs unit support activities in the operating room suite. Responsibilities include complying with Sharp HealthCare practices and policies, maintaining regulatory requirements, providing quality care to O.R. patients, documenting and communicating important data, and identifying problems to improve quality of care. The role requires anticipating procedural needs, fulfilling commitments, and participating in teaching and process improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years of experience as a scrub person in a hospital setting
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
• Orthopedic, neuro, and robotic experience
• Travel experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of an approved program for Operating Room Technicians or demonstrated technical skills through on-the-job training
• Scrub Tech Certification
• High school education
