Job Title

Certified Surgical Technologist – Surgical Services

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (8:30 AM – 9:00 PM) | Onsite | On-Call Required | Weekend Availability Required

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scrub technologist duties in a high-acuity pediatric surgical environment, including Orthopedic and Neurological procedures
  • Provide surgical support across patient populations including neonates, infants, pediatric, and adolescent patients
  • Assist with ultrasound procedures and support portable, inpatient, ER, PICU, NICU, and neonate cases as needed
  • Maintain sterile field and ensure proper handling of surgical instruments and equipment throughout procedures
  • Participate in on-call coverage on variable days and times as operationally required
  • Document and chart accurately using EPIC electronic health records system
Required Qualifications
  • Active Washington State Surgical Technologist License (must be in hand prior to start; if not yet obtained, start date will be set 6–8 weeks out for processing)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Pediatric facility experience required
  • Demonstrated experience in Orthopedic and Neurological surgical specialties
  • Experience with neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient populations
  • Inpatient surgical technologist and scrub experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • NBSTSA certification preferred
  • Experience in outpatient surgery or Level I Trauma settings
  • Endoscopic and laparoscopic procedure experience
  • ENT and robotic surgical experience
