Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Weekend call rotation required (1 out of every 6 weekends, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgical team in the operating room by preparing and passing instruments and supplies during procedures
- Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical cases in accordance with established protocols
- Prepare the operating room prior to procedures, including setting up sterile drapes, equipment, and instrumentation
- Participate in on-call rotation covering weekend shifts as assigned
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff to ensure safe and efficient patient care
Required Qualifications- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification or eligibility
- Knowledge of surgical instrumentation, aseptic technique, and sterile field management
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation including weekend coverage
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a hospital or acute care surgical setting
- Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties
