Surgical Process Technician

Contract | Evening Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Onsite

• Transport patients safely throughout the facility as required by surgical services operations
• Clean and turn over surgical rooms between procedures to maintain readiness and compliance standards
• Lift and move heavy items and equipment in support of surgical services workflow
• Support the surgical services team during mid-shift hours in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Complete required orientation activities, including an initial period on first shift to become familiar with the unit

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required
• 18 months of combined permanent experience in surgical services or applicable specialty required
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required — no pending renewals accepted
• High school diploma or GED required
• Active, permanent Ohio state license required at time of submission; compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/2023 and forward
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required; references must be from assignments within the past 12 months

• 18 months of specialty experience within a single location preferred
• Familiarity with surgical room turnover procedures and patient transport protocols
