Surgical Process Technician

Contract | Evening Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Onsite

• Support surgical services operations during evening shift hours within a high-volume surgical environment
• Assist with surgical processing workflows and related technical duties on the unit
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols, safety standards, and procedural requirements
• Complete required orientation training, including assessments administered during the onboarding period
• Collaborate with surgical services team members to ensure efficient and safe unit operations

• Minimum of 1 full year of customer service experience required
• 18 months of combined permanent experience in surgical services specialty required
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required — no pending status accepted
• High school diploma or GED required
• Active, permanent Ohio state license required at time of submission; compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/2023 and forward
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from assignments within the past 12 months, required

• 18 months of specialty experience within a single location preferred
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety practices is beneficial
