Surgical Technologist – Operating Room (CST)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | On-Call Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Scrub and assist across a broad range of surgical specialties including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, Robotics, Transplant/Procurement, Trauma/Burns, and GU/GYN
- Perform surgical technologist duties within a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center and Magnet-designated operating room environmentilli
- Participate in on-call coverage, including up to 4 call shifts per month (end of shift through 7:00 AM)
- Work up to one weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) per month as part of the regular rotation
- Float within scope to support facility needs across like units as required
- Utilize EPIC for clinical charting and documentation
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
- Active NBSTSA certification required (NCCT not accepted)
- Current BLS certification required
- Level I Trauma experience required
- Radiation badge required (must be provided by placing agency)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Neuro cases including spinal and cranial procedures
- Experience with ENT flap procedures
- Proficiency with Robotic-assisted surgery, specifically da Vinci Xi platform
