Surgical Technologist – Operating Room

Key Responsibilities- Scrub and assist in a high-volume OR environment handling 25–35 cases per day across 11 operating suites
- Support a wide range of surgical specialties including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Spine, Thoracic, Trauma, Vascular, General, GYN, Robotics, Urology, ENT, Plastics, Maxillofacial, Colorectal, Podiatry, and Breast surgery
- Assist with complex neurological procedures such as craniotomies, tumor resections, and brain biopsies; utilize navigation systems including Stealth
- Support orthopedic cases including total joints, sports medicine, and fracture repairs
- Operate and assist with robotic surgical systems
- Document and manage patient and case information using EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications- Active Virginia Surgical Technologist License required at time of submittal
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience
- Demonstrated experience in Thoracic, Trauma, Neuro, Spine, Orthopedics, and Robotics
Preferred Experience / Skills- Familiarity with Stealth navigation systems for neurosurgical procedures
- Experience across a broad range of surgical specialties in a high-volume setting
- Prior experience with EPIC EMR
