Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist Profession: Surgical Technologist (CST) Specialty: General Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years current CST experience License: New Hampshire Medical Technician Registration Cert (can pend upon offer) Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA Must-Have: - High proficiency in Neuro, Ortho, and Total Joints - Scrubbing experience in General, Ortho, Neuro, and Endo Description: Traveler must have very high proficiency in Neuro, Ortho, and Total Joints. This is non-negotiable. COVID vaccination is encouraged but not required. This is a small department, therefore reasoning to take time off must be limited, with preference for none. Holiday requests for time off are not available. The Surgical Technologist will act as a member of the surgical team and primarily function in a scrubbing capacity. The CST may assist in circulating duties in the surgical suite. Maintaining aseptic technique while providing a quiet environment in the OR suite is essential. The CST will share in OR suite preparation and will use and maintain specialized equipment and supplies used for specific surgical procedures. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. No scheduling requests will be approved at or after the time of the offer. Profile requirements include a cover page, work history, skills checklist for certified surgical technologists within the past year, and signed supervisory references from within the past two years of employment.
