Job Title: Surgical Technician Profession: Technician Specialty: Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12s Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year ST experience License: High School diploma or GED equivalent Certifications: BLS certification, CST certification Must-Have: - Must have at least 1+ years of strong recent ST experience. Description: Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and Surgical Team members, you will be responsible for the handling of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during general surgical procedures. You will ensure understanding of the assigned surgical procedure being performed and anticipate the needs of the assigned surgical team. You will also provide service support related to patient preparation, patient transport, building services, and assisting the surgical care team with specific patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs. You will respond to emergent situations according to established procedures.
