Job Title: Certified Operating Room Technician (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 06:30 - 17:00 Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred in Neuro, ENT, and Robotics cases License: Required, state-specific requirements apply Certifications: NBSTSA, BLS, Clienttion Badge Must-Have: - Two years of experience in an Operating Room setting - Experience with Neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (DaVinci Xi) cases is highly preferred - Ability to float within the scope to meet facility needs Description: The position requires working 4x10 shifts, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a holiday rotation. You will be required to take on-call shifts, up to four times per month, along with one weekend shift per month. You may be expected to float between different operating rooms or facilities to meet the needs of the department. Experience in handling a variety of surgical cases, including Ortho, Neuro, ENT, Robotics, and Trauma, is essential. The work environment is a busy, dynamic surgical department equipped with cutting-edge technology. Successful candidates will work alongside a diverse nursing team in a challenging and rewarding setting. All candidates must be prepared for the possibility of working during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. Compliance with all facility requirements and licensure is mandatory. It is crucial to include any planned time off at the time of submission. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-performing surgical team.
