Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: South Carolina license required Certifications: CST certification, BLS Must-Have: Experience in Neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (Da Vinci Xi) cases is highly preferred. Candidates with experience in various surgical specialties such as Ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), Neuro (crani, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, GU/GYN are encouraged to apply. Clienttion badge required; badge must be provided by the agency. Description: This position involves working in a busy operating room environment. The role includes assisting surgeons during various surgical procedures. Candidates will be part of a dynamic nursing team. The surgical technologist will manage surgical instruments and ensure a sterile environment. As part of this role, candidates should expect to float to meet facility needs. There will be a rotational weekend and holiday schedule. The facility operates as a level 1 trauma center with diverse surgical cases. Applicants must be open to accommodating a block schedule, subject to manager approval. All required time off must be communicated at the time of submission. Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season from June through November. Job responsibilities include maintaining a safe surgical environment and supporting the surgical team.
