Travel Surgical Tech - $1,263 per week in Albuquerque, NM

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (12:00 PM - 8:30 PM). Call coverage required. 13-week assignment with 40 hours of orientation.

• Work in a busy operating room environment with a daily census of 35 patients across 14 operating rooms
• Gain experience with diverse surgical specialties including orthopedics, neurosurgery, spine, robotics, ophthalmology, urology, general surgery, podiatry, GI lab, ENT, and GYN
• Utilize advanced sterile processing equipment including SPD instrument tracking systems, sterilization equipment, and decontamination equipment
• Work with both adult and geriatric patient populations in a community hospital setting
• Sterile processing decontamination and clean assembly areas located on multiple floors
• Epic charting system experience preferred

• Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing Technician experience preferred
• Previous travel experience required
• BLS certification required
• CBSPD certification preferred but not required
• New Mexico state license or compact license (must be obtained prior to start date)
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
• Experience with acute hospital OR, scope/probe reprocessing, high-level disinfection, steam sterilization, and aseptic technique
• Proficiency with biological and chemical indicators, equipment documentation, and proper sterilization wrapping procedures
