Travel Surgical Tech - $1,219 to $1,419 per week in Denver, CO

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS Certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist or OR Tech in an operating room environment.
• Orthopedic / joint surgery experience required.
• Current DORA certification as required by Colorado practice regulations.
• Flexibility to work day and evening hours as needed. Call requirements may apply.
• Preferred: Level I and trauma experience.
• Preferred: Experience with Meditech electronic medical record system.

• Unit: Operating Room (OR) with approximately 14 ORs and a multidisciplinary team.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: Days 0700-1700.
• Typical team structure: day shift staffing includes charge, RN and ST per OR; night staffing includes charge, RN and ST.
• Typical procedures: general and specialty surgeries excluding CVOR, neuro, and transplant cases.
• Patient ratio: generally 1:1 for perioperative support (estimated).
