CVOR Surgical Technologist – First Assist

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities- Perform first assist duties during cardiovascular surgical procedures in the CVOR
- Scrub and assist the surgical team throughout cardiovascular operations
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instruments, and supplies for CVOR cases
- Anticipate surgeon needs and provide direct intraoperative assistance as a first assist
- Adhere to all surgical safety protocols and sterile technique standards
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of CVOR Surgical Technologist experience
- Must hold and maintain CVOR First Assist (FA) certification or credential
- Demonstrated proficiency in cardiovascular surgical scrubbing and first assist techniques
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a high-volume cardiovascular operating room environment
- Strong familiarity with cardiovascular surgical instrumentation and equipment
