Job Title: Surgical Support Aide Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Surgical Process Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 hours (14:00 - 22:30) Experience: 1 year of customer service experience required License: Permanent Ohio license required Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: High school diploma or GED needed Description: Surgical Support Aide position available. Candidate must have 1 year of customer service experience. BLS certification and high school diploma or GED are required. The position requires familiarity with the unit for the first three weeks of the contract. Travelers will be asked to work the first shift (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM) during orientation to gain unit familiarity. Candidates must maintain active certifications with nothing pending. References are required from a manager or supervisor in the specialty within the past 12 months. Candidates should be nicotine-free unless exempt. A negative 10 panel drug screen is required within 12 months of the start. The position may require modules and assessments prior to start and during orientation.
