Job Title: CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Duration: 15 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, CSFA, NBSTSA, NCCSA accepted Must-Have: Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, Thoracic experience Description: Position requires privileging process prior to start, approximately 120 days from time of signature. Candidate must complete privileging process before starting. Schedule is days, with weekend coverage required during call. Call is 1 day a week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks, subject to departmental needs. Candidate will float within facility and scope of practice. No RTO accepted for holidays. Full compliance is required to start on time; non-compliance may lead to delays. Candidate will be reviewed clinically to determine fit and eligibility. Candidate must demonstrate experience in procedures related to cardiac and vascular surgery. No travel pairs accepted, and self-scheduling is not permitted. Management reserves the right to make adjustments as needed to support unit requirements.
