Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist / Operating Room Technician Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: First Assist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30-17:00 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Certified Surgical Technologist Certifications: Required certifications in surgical technology and specialized experience Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Open heart experience - Experience in total knees, hips, shoulders, spine, and robotics Description: This position requires a certified surgical technician with experience in open heart procedures. The facility is a community hospital and a regional referral center. It has 171 beds and is accredited by the Joint Commission. The hospital is recognized as a Certified Chest Pain Center and a Level 3 Trauma facility. The location offers many outdoor recreational activities. It features beautiful mountain ranges paired with serene lake scenery. The facility handles a wide variety of cases daily, including total joints, spine, orthopedic and neuro surgeries, robotics, OB/GYN, podiatry, urology, general surgery, and plastics. The surgical team consists of multiple staff that may require rotation on weekends. Candidates should have experience with the XI DaVinci surgical system. Patients treated range from adult to geriatric populations. The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively is essential.
