Job Title: First Assist Surgical Technologist Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: First Assist Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 9.5 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a hospital setting required License: Must hold an active state license at the time of submission Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Robotic and spine experience 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required Active state license at the time of submission BLS certification Description: MUST HAVE ROBOTIC AND SPINE EXPERIENCE 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN A HOSPITAL SETTING REQUIRED MUST HOLD ACTIVE STATE LICENSE AT TIME OF SUBMISSION BLS CERTIFICATION REQUIRED Unit Information: Number of Beds: 4 OR rooms Number of Staff: 5 RNs/6 STs (4 are First Assists) Type of staff: Day Shift: 7 AM – 3:30 PM Night Shift: On-call 3:30 PM – 7 AM (Monday to Friday) Type of procedures: Robot, orthopedic, total joints, ENT, GYN, general, bariatric, podiatry, etc. EMR used is Meditech CNOR certification preferred Strong experience required Unit recognized as a Unit of Distinction in 2019 Joint commission certified in both knees and hips Best Personality Fit: Flexible Good attitude Floating Area(s): Endoscopy when needed Dress Code: Scrub color/attire: grey scrubs supplied by the facility. Change daily. Scrubs laundered by the facility. Weekends and On-call: Every 5-6 weekends One on-call night per week General Comments: One position available.
