Position: Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST) SNSNSN
Location: Bethpage, NY.
Shift: Nights – 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (8-hour shifts)
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Duties:
• Disassemble, clean, sterilize, and reassemble surgical instruments and sterile supplies.
• Operate washers, autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and sterilization equipment (steam and ethylene oxide).
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and proper assembly.
• Prepare and package sterile trays and case carts according to hospital standards.
• Transport used instruments from clinical areas for decontamination.
• Maintain sterile processing workflow and infection control standards.
