There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed for each emergency event. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience. Experience with sterilizers, Sterrad machines, and ultrasonic systems is required. Additional skills include knowledge of biological indicators, disinfection, high-level disinfection, and robotics. Candidates must be certified for at least 2-3 years. You should have experience in flexible cystoscopy, flexible ureteroscopy, neurology, and cardiovascular procedures. For interviewing purposes, you should be prepared to answer specific questions regarding instrument tracking systems, decontamination, and sterilization procedures. All travelers must be over 65 miles from the facility. References from past supervisors will be required before starting the contract. Candidates must ensure all certifications are up to date.
