Job Summary:
Step Down Unit RN - Milwaukee, WI. This position involves providing care to patients requiring intermediate level nursing support within a step down or telemetry setting. The role requires adaptable clinical skills to work on either a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit, based on the greatest organizational need. The assignment begins on 08/17/2026, with possible floating within the facility or to sites within 40 miles.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, 2 years of prior PCU or Medical-Surgical Telemetry acute care experience, proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record, willingness to float within skill set or to facilities within 40 miles, can start by 07/12 for elevated pay rate.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Step Down or Telemetry units is preferred.
• Additional Information: Position involves working on a unit with the greatest need, based on the traveler's skills. The candidate must be able to start by 07/12 for elevated rates and be prepared to float within skill set or to nearby sites as needed.
