Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), weekends required. Patient ratio 1:4. 12-hour orientation provided.
This is an excellent opportunity for nurses seeking to advance their step down and telemetry skills in a supportive environment. The unit cares for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including respiratory failure, A-fib with RVR, sepsis, CHF, COPD, and ETOH withdrawal. You'll gain experience with special procedures such as cardioversion, TEE, radial bands, and groin site management while working alongside a collaborative healthcare team. Floating to like units may be required based on facility needs.
