This role involves working in an acute care environment, supporting patients from physician orders throughout the hospital. Key Responsibilities of the Speech Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist
  • Support acute care patients from physician orders throughout the hospital
  • Manage a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses including ICU patients, stroke/neurological, dysphagia, respiratory compromise, cognitive, etc.

Requirements of the Speech Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist
  • Minimum of 15-18 months of recent experience within specialty
  • Required AHA BLS
  • GA License for SLP & CCC-SLP
  • Prior acute care experience is desirable
  • MBS/FEES proficiency is a plus but not required
