Contract | Full-Time (40 hours/week) | Onsite | Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 5x8-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide approximately 20 IEP service hours per week, including 10–15 hours of direct therapy
- Deliver speech-language therapy in both individual and group settings at the provider's discretion
- Serve a caseload of students approximately 10–20 years of age on both certificate and diploma track programs
- Support students diagnosed with Autism, comorbidities, and social-emotional or psychological diagnoses
- Work with a mixed caseload that includes speech-generating device users as well as predominantly speaking students
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland (MD) state license in Speech-Language Pathology — must be in hand at time of submittal
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Must successfully pass a drug screen on the first attempt
- Must complete Maryland state fingerprinting (livescan) prior to start date; receipt required for clearance
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with students using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) or speech-generating devices
- Background in school-based speech-language pathology services
- Familiarity with Allscripts (Sunrise) EMR system
