Key Responsibilities- Serve as an assessing therapist with a modified caseload while supporting Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) responsibilities
- Attend and participate in morning meetings and facility-wide meetings
- Manage and coordinate the rehabilitation team schedule
- Provide leadership and direction to the rehabilitation team including PT, OT, ST, PTA, and COTA staff
- Oversee and ensure compliance with PDPM processes and all federal, state, and facility regulations
- Foster collaboration among interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes in a high-acuity long-term care setting
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 1 year of Speech Language Pathology experience
- Experience in a leadership role within a SNF or LTC rehabilitation setting
- Working knowledge of PDPM (Patient-Driven Payment Model)
- Active Missouri State SLP License
- New graduates will not be considered for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience serving in or supporting a Director of Rehabilitation capacity
- Familiarity with clinical and operational performance monitoring in a long-term care environment
