Key Responsibilities of the Speech-Language Pathologist:
  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with facility and state standards
  • Educate patients and family members on therapy plans, goals, and home care strategies
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning

Requirements:
  • Active Massachusetts SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFs may be considered)
  • Strong communication, assessment, and treatment planning skills
  • Prior experience in a clinical or rehab setting preferred
