Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately assess and interpret evaluations and test results to determine appropriate speech therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians and by prescription.
  • Administer speech therapy treatments according to physician-approved treatment plans, seeing approximately 8–9 patients daily ranging in age from 2 years old to adolescents.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, providing medically necessary modifications to treatment plans as needed.
  • Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records in accordance with accepted regulatory, corporate, and professional guidelines, including recording daily treatment charges.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in in-service training programs.
  • Contribute to team efforts including quality improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Active Nebraska State License as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued through the American Heart Association.
  • CPI, MOAB certification, or willingness to complete on-site MOAB training.
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team including OTs and PTs.
  • Reliable, inquisitive, and highly patient-focused with a commitment to delivering an exceptional patient experience.
