Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding communication strategies
Required Qualifications- Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Connecticut
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligibility
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous experience in a similar clinical or facility-based setting
- Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
