Job Title: Speech and Language Pathologist Profession: Speech and Language Pathologist Specialty: Inpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 3+ years of current SLP experience License: State License in New Hampshire Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Must-Have: Master or Doctorate Degree 3+ years of current SLP experience Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Active American Heart Association BLS Knowledge of rehabilitation equipment Traveler must have their own vehicle Description: Speech therapy is the assessment and treatment of communication problems and speech disorders. Our speech-language pathologists offer direct therapeutic intervention and education. The goal is to provide patients with strategies and resources needed to strengthen their communication. Speech Therapy services include adult and pediatric speech therapy. Also included are swallowing evaluation and treatment, and speech and language evaluation and treatment. Cognitive evaluation and retraining are part of our services as well. Modified barium swallow assessments are available for patients. We focus on neurological disorders as part of our therapy. Candidates should be familiar with rehabilitation equipment, including communication aids and wheelchairs. "Local" travelers, who reside within 50 miles of the facility, will not be considered for this need. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.
