Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Profession: SLP Specialty: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: State SLP License Certifications: CCCs, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: - 1 year experience as a Speech Language Pathologist - Mandatory acute and critical care experience including MBSS Description: A 198-bed, level III trauma center providing healthcare services. Services include medical, surgical, and rehabilitation care. The facility also offers a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, and extensive imaging and lab testing services. Recognized for accreditation in PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory. Named one of the Top 20 Most Beautiful Clients in the U.S. Offers healthcare to a diverse region with numerous outdoor recreational activities. Features beautiful landscapes, rivers, golf courses, and national parks for recreational opportunities. The acute rehabilitation department provides services seven days a week. Required to attend mandatory meetings if they occur during the unpaid lunch break. Dress code consists of dark gray tops and black pants. Patient ratios range from 8 to 12 patients per day, depending on referrals and hours worked. Electronic Health Records system in use is Cerner. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics.
