Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Active Massachusetts state SLP license is required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
  • Experience evaluating and treating dysphagia and cognitive-communication disorders preferred.
  • Ability to complete documentation in electronic medical records systems preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Details: Days 0800-1630.
  • Work Days: Monday through Friday.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week.
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks.
  • Float Requirement: Candidate may be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
