Video fluoroscopy swallow evaluation experience preferred. No local candidates accepted (must live outside a 25-mile radius). First-timers are accepted. Description: We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist for an acute care hospital setting. Candidates must have acute care experience with bedside swallow evaluations and treatments. Experience in performing video fluoroscopy swallow evaluations is preferred. The position requires commitment to working every fifth weekend, both Saturday and Sunday. Candidates must be prepared to work holidays as needed. The patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Responsibilities include conducting assessments and creating treatment plans for patients with dysphagia and communication disorders. Additional duties may include conducting modified barium swallow studies and providing patient and family education. The environment is interdisciplinary, collaborating with various specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
