Job Title: Speech and Language Pathologist Profession: Speech and Language Pathologists Specialty: Long Term Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours M-F, flexible times Experience: 1 year of SLP experience License: Missouri State License Certifications: Knowledge of PDPM Must-Have: Experience in a leadership role within a SNF/LTC rehab setting Description: This role will be an assessing therapist with a lighter case load to take on some Director of Rehabilitation responsibilities. The therapist will attend morning meetings and facility meetings and manage the schedule. Key responsibilities include providing strong leadership and direction to the rehabilitation team (PT, OT, ST, PTA, COTA). The therapist will oversee and ensure compliance with PDPM processes. They will develop and enhance rehabilitation programs for high-acuity patients. Collaboration among interdisciplinary teams will be fostered to optimize patient outcomes. Monitoring and analyzing clinical and financial performance metrics is essential. Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations is required.
