This travel role involves working across SNF and Home Health environments, utilizing Net Health and HCHB software. With support from an onsite therapy supervisor, new graduates are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist
  • Administer and perform therapeutic interventions with clients
  • Assess client needs and develop therapy plans
  • Safeguard client property and provide opportunities for independence and choice
  • Maintain confidentiality of personal information
  • Keep client living areas pleasant and orderly
  • Document observations and services provided
  • Notify physicians of changes and process orders
  • Train clients, family members, and staff on interventions and equipment
  • Utilize and supervise therapy assistants as needed
  • Follow infection control and safety standards

Requirements of the Speech Language Pathologist
  • Completion of an accredited speech/language pathology program
  • Prior work experience in a rehabilitation/geriatrics setting preferred
  • Certification for the state of practice
  • BLS Certification
  • Basic speech/language pathology skills
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
