7 AM to 7 PM with calls 4-6 times a month and coverage for upcoming holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Operating Room Registered Nurses (RNs) with a focus on orthopedic and trauma procedures. Candidates must have completed PeriOp 101 and possess the necessary certifications. The role involves providing critical patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment, ensuring patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and capable of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nursing assessments and develop care plans for surgical patients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in the operating room.
  • Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and provide post-operative care.
  • Document all patient interactions in the EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Must have completed PeriOp 101.
  • Orthopedic and trauma experience required.
  • Current RN license in Texas.
