Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Lead in the Medical ICU, The ideal Candidate will play a critical leadership role, working closely with nurse management, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

You will:

• Lead and supervise nursing and support staff

• Ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care

• Drive patient safety and satisfaction initiatives

• Coordinate care plans with patients, families, and care teams

• Support staff development and performance management

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily unit operations and staffing based on patient acuity

• Mentor, coach, and evaluate nursing staff

• Participate in patient care as needed

• Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

• Address patient concerns and enhance care experience

• Collaborate on policy development and operational improvements

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required)

• Master’s Degree (preferred)

• Supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership skills (required)

• 5+ years of clinical experience (preferred)

Licenses & Certifications:

• Active RN license (California)

• BLS (AHA or ARC) – required

• ACLS (AHA or ARC) – required

• TNCC – required

• Additional specialty certifications (preferred)
