Role: RN, Nurse Lead – Labor & Delivery
Shift: Night Shift
Schedule: 3x12s (12-hour shifts)
Call: No call
Scheduling: As needed (no block scheduling)
Lead and support unit-based nursing operations in Labor & Delivery. Responsible for coordinating patient care, supervising nursing staff, ensuring quality outcomes, and maintaining patient safety standards. Works closely with clinical leadership and physicians to support efficient, high-quality care delivery.
Provide unit leadership and supervise nursing/ancillary staff
Coordinate patient care plans with interdisciplinary teams
Monitor staffing, assignments, and workflow efficiency
Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Address patient care concerns and operational issues
Assist with staff coaching, evaluation, and performance management
Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
Active RN license (State of CA)
BLS, ACLS, NRP required
Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) required
Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred (or equivalent experience)
Supervisory experience required
L&D experience strongly preferred
Leadership role in Labor & Delivery
Coastal California location
