· Number of Beds : 16
· Patient Ratios : 1:2
· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 1 nurse per 2 patients, free charge OR tech on unit
· Type of equipment : Phillips central monitoring
· Documentation system: Meditech
· Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend
· Floating policy: Float to M/S and PCU for an assignment. May float to ER to task or take hold patients
· Patient Experience requirements:

· Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH STROKE SCALE
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set: Critical Care experience
Must have: ACLS, BLS, NIH
Advanced skills needed: experience with vents, arterial lines, titration drips, post craniotomy care, post cath lab patients
Procedures performed on unit: central line placement, art line placement, chest tubes, intubation
Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NIH
Dress Code: (Required uniform)
