Travel: Respiratory Therapist (3x12's – Nights)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights | 3x12's (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory therapy services across Acute Care and Emergency Department settings
- Perform patient assessments and deliver treatment for pulmonary disease
- Conduct pulmonary-related patient education
- Care for inpatient populations including ED, Medical-Surgical Unit, and Step-Down patients
- Manage a patient load of approximately 20–25 patients per round within an 80:1 ratio environment
- Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification required
- Active Virginia Respiratory Therapy License required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association (AHA) only
- Proficiency with Epic EMR is required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in Acute Care and Emergency Department respiratory therapy settings
- Familiarity with Step-Down and Medical-Surgical Unit patient populations
